A little behind since there was minimal Internet connection on Sun.
The first night in the camper was pretty good, although our puppy spent a lot of time alerting us to the slightest movements of our neighbors. Hmm. Need to work something out on that.
Went into Yosemite on Sun.; about a 45 minute drive. Gorgeous drive along the Merced River. Got into the park and saw a heck of a lot of granite. See various pics. Park was busy, but not insane as we might have imagined.
Went for a hike with all to the lower Yosemite falls. Had a nice picnic on the way up, then Maddie and Carrie turned back. Kids and I continued up to have a look and walk in the water. Some of us were not supposed walk in the water, but nonetheless, Jake said, "feels good!". "Get outta there!"
Drove around a bit more, saw the Visitor Center, and got a new hat. It was hot, so we drove back to the site and went for a swim. Cooked up some great steaks, and enjoyed the night.
